EPM non-isolated DC-DC converters from Eaton
1:16
Eaton EPM non-isolated DC-DC converters are highly efficient switching regulators in compact packages for computing, industrial, energy, medical, and telecom applications, with the flexibility to address changing application needs. The family includes the EPM78 and the EPM12 converters. The EPM78 uses a SIP3 package and is designed as a direct replacement for inefficient LM78 linear regulators while balancing performance, design flexibility, and cost. EPM78 regulators operate from a wide 4.75 to 32 volt DC input and provide a 1A output at a fixed voltage ranging from 1.8 to 15 volts, with efficiency up to 94.5%. The EPM12 has a programmable output voltage ranging from 0.6 to 5.5 volts for greater flexibility, with the EPM12V1 delivering up to 1A and the EPM12V2 up to 12A. They operate at up to 92.5% efficiency and have a surface mount DOSA-compatible footprint. The EPM12 also offers remote on/off control, and all EPM converters have integrated short circuit protection.
