PHVL Low leakage supercapacitors packs
0:57
Eaton PHVL supercapacitors are two cell supercapacitor packs with low self-discharge and low leakage current that can be used to extend battery life, provide pulse power for RF radios, or provide backup power for longer periods than standard supercapacitors. The PHVL supercapacitors have capacitance values up to 5.0F and a 3.9V operating voltage, matching the voltage of most batteries for easy pairing. At room temperature, PHVL supercapacitors have leakage current that is 80% to 90% less than our standard PHV supercapacitors, resulting in longer battery life when connected in parallel with a primary battery and longer backup duration for devices such as real-time clocks. Eaton PHVL supercapacitors are ideal for water and gas meters, automotive e-call, vehicle telematics, IoT devices, and other battery-powered or long duration backup power applications.
